Week One: Acting with the camera. Students will be taught basic techniques of the camera audition such as slating, framing, eye placement

Week Two: Students will prepare an audition scene for the camera and present the audition and hear instructor and peer critiques

Misti B. Wills is an award winning professional stage director and educator based in New York City.  She holds a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College and is certified to teach performing arts K-12 in NY and MA.  She recently directed the Ovation Recommended musical Sister Act at Cabrillo Music Theatre and The Hunchback of Notre Dame at 5 Star Theatricals in L.A. and the NYC premiere of Charles Strouse/Lee Adams musical, A Pound in Your Pocket. Other fave credits include: Off-Broadway: In Search of Euphoria (New World Stages, Fidelity Futurestage Program), Tempest (La MaMa, ETC. Assistant Director), Off-Off Broadway: The Drunken City,Afterlight (Cherry Lane, NY Fringe Festival) Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice.  Regional: My Fair Lady (Forestburgh Playhouse), New York Water (Depot Theatre) Misti is on the acting faculties of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and City College of Technology and a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. www.mistiwills.com
